Thread adapter 1.5" to 1.25"

Hi,

I have an RCBS AmmoMaster II that I want to use for my 375CT dies, but those are 1.25" while the press has 1.5" threads. Does anyone know who sells an adapter?

I've tried RCBS several times as they have a spare top plate for this press, but they are unwilling to answer most of the times and if they do I never hear back about selling one to me. Hence the search for an adapter.

Find a machine shop, that's an easy job for them.

i'm in the EU, the metric part of it. If it doesn't start with M then they look at me all funny.

Heli coil makes a rigid type adaptor for repairing big holes.It has a nylock feature which will keep it tight where you set it in the bore of your press.They are not real long so you should be able to make it flush or slight lower.Any industrial supply house should have them.They are referred to as thread repair inserts not the helicoil type that is precision ground tempered wire.

Did you ever find a solution? I am having the same problem without any luck.

You need to specify the number of threads per inch for both the internal and external threads.

Try Dave Davison at CH4D TOOLS. He makes a lot of custom press bushings.
But you must know the threads per inch of both threads.
There are 2 different internal threads to chose from.
