Thoughts on H 100v

I was thinking of trying some of Hodgdons hybrid 100v in a 6.5 creedmoor in combination with some of Bergers 140 VLDs as a hunting round. I like the fact that it is listed as the highest velocity on Hodgdons site however I have had VERY limited experience with this powder. Any reason I should or should not use it?

I have only used it in a 7 WSM w/168 Bergers. I liked the results well enough out to 1000 yards that I bought 8 more pounds of it. I am thinking of trying it in my 6 XC, but the load that I have works very well so I am a little hesitant to try anything different right now. As soon as the weather warms a little I'll try the H100V in the 6 XC.

As suggested from Chris Hodgdon we have been using h100v in a 20x47lapua with the 55gr bergers to good result. 3900fps and good accuracy?

I had good luck with in a 243 but found it to be extremely dirty

Has worked well in a 6.5/06 AI (120, 130 and 140gr. bullets), also shot fine a 300 WSM with 165gr. bullets.
