What do you guys think of the bullet? Good for fclass? Good for fclass practice? What's your experience. Thinking of using r17 with them for practice rounds for fclass.

The 140 RDFs shot better in my barrel with Reloder 16 but I'm not
knocking the Match burners. In the168 class bullets for my 7mm
wild cat the MB's shot as good as the Bergers and with a much
better price..

Get them and test. For all you know it may turn out to be your
primary bullet your barrel likes.

I shot about 200 of them.

I had found decent accuracy, like .7 MOA, and low SD (8) for two groups of ten rounds, at a muzzle velocity of 2,648 fps.

Yeah I know .7 MOA is not fantastic but I chose this over smaller shooting loads with much higher SD. Funny how those things work out.

I developed that on an 86 degree summer day. More recently, on a 68 degree day, I shot those out to 1000 yards. On that day I don't know for sure what the velocity was (I have a Magnetospeed Sporter and I had to shoot suppressed so unable to measure) but Strelok estimated 2,610 fps at the muzzle and 1,138 at 1k. Subsonic at that temp. was 1,126.

Good out to 600 but 1000 yards was bad. I had a lot of trouble hitting a 12 inch square plate. I shot over it, under it, and off both sides of it but only hit it a couple times by accident. Probably not even 2 MOA. I don't suspect the nut behind the trigger was too much of a factor 'cause 142 SMKs at 2,750 were a lot better.

they shoot ok in my .260 Remington

playing around 1 day put 8 of 9 shots in a 4.4 inch by 3.2 inch group at 835, 9th shot dropped about 2 inches lower. Using 4831 SC in a Lapua case, CCI 200 primer. The low flyer was probably me or the case prep. I started neck turning and annealing those Lapuas and those flyers stopped

140 gr Match Burners in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Will stay under 1" @ 100 yards with the right load. Fired in my 6.5 CM Savage Axis as it came from the factory. The package has a Bushnell 3x9 scope on it. A higher power scope may help?

The 120 MB & 123 Hornady seem to be a better choice at 100 yards. Possible barrel twist rate issure? Or thin whippy barrel?

Good price for 500 bullets, cheap shooting.

I use the 112 match burner in my fclass 6x47L. I have taken them to 1200 meters and they held water line all the way out. I just bought 500 more for when i run out of DTACs.

I used them quite a bit earlier this year and found unexplained fliers using match prepped Lapua SRP brass, RL16 and Fed Ar Match primers. I still have several hundred but only using them for practice. My go to bullet for competition is the Berger 140 Hybrid which have lately become extinct! I hope this helps.

Though not in the same category, I have used the 140 MB's in my 6.5 X 55 Swedish Mauser CMP sniper with a 4X Weaver off a front bag and have no problem shooting sub-MOA at 300 & 600 yards. They seem to do well with plenty of freebore.
