Monk Palmer swore to me that all the bucks that are around Post, are that big. But then again, Monk is a pretty good story teller.

County west of Post doesnt have a mule deer season. Talk about some giants walking around. They are like cattle

Post is located right off the cap. Lots of nooks and crannies for deer like this to hide in.

West Texas has mule deer. Looks like a hybrid. Muley / Whitetail mix. Antlers definitely have muley characteristics. Congrats on that Whopper. No where to go from there.

True. When I was shooting prairie dogs over near in Hockley County/Levelland the guide was talking about the fear that their big Muleys were gonna cross-breed with the Whitetails that had infiltrated the area. This buck looks like their fears came true.

Gentlemen, Here in N. Idaho, we have both whitetails & muleys. I've never personally seen a cross between the 2 species. That being said, that deer definitely has traits from both. No Matter, It's a Great Buck, Good Job to your friend!!!!!!! Idaho-45

He's ruined. Everything now is a "let it walk". On the deer, he's transracial. Thinks he's a muley but really a whitetail. I believe there are some people in the same boat.

Big deer and yes I was out there dreaming this morning of such a thing. The antlers can easily be pure white tail. That web on the side of his G3 isn't that uncommon nor are the splits. We just had a 39 point killed in my area that had everything imaginable. Wow what a deer none the less! This dreaming is only Killin my back so far! Lol
