Went out working up loads for my 6.5-284 in this cooler weather for this weekends match in St Louis and came up with a ES of "0" I thought at first when runnin g the numbers it missed the other shots but had looked and 3 shots went thru the screens. I've gotten in the low single digits before but never a perfect 3 shot string, I just can't believe I blew the group with throwing one shot high. I'll be back out tomorrow testing this load up and down by .2 grn increments from the 52.0 grns at 300 yds to see how well it shoots there. Typically anything under 20 fps is ideal for long range some try for a max of 15 fps me I do prefer the single digits but this cooler weather plays havoc on how powders burn and the ignitions of powder as well. I truely perfer not shooting or testing under 60 degrees and prefer to do my load development at or around 80 degrees.
