Them Guys at Bartlein

Have their house in order!!!!! This barrel had 58 rounds on it before this morning testing 2 powders. I hit a sweet spot with powder #3 Military pulldown.

600 yds. I had loaded 7 rounds with this and used 2 for the first cold bore shots, I wish I had used 8 so I could have had 3 sighters.

IMHO, Bartlein are great barrels that are more often than not, overshadowed by the Lilja, Shilen, Hart and Kreiger barrels becauise of their popularity and not necessarily out-performance. We have a board member at my local gun club who is a Gunsmith and who buys and mounts mostly Bartlein barrels on various calibers. I've never seen a poor performance out of a Bartlein barrel no matter the distance so long as the shooter does his part, as evidenced by the example provided by tc. BTW, that group is great and the one off to the left I believe is not the result of the barrel's performance. Been there and done those myself, but usually on the fifth shot after which I ask myself, why did I take that shot? Great shootin tc!
