I don't lower myself to attach myself to either of those gawd forsaken collectivist cults you call "parties"... Most people wouldn't know real conservatism if slapped them in the face... There is no real difference any more between the two parties... and it's only the truly ill informed that don't know that.

Conservatives by definition don't attach themselves to party platforms. There is no need.... As real conservative principals are as old as time itself and don't need advocates telling them how to think...

Maybe you should do some research into these "conservatives" you think have got your back... The Bush family is a real good place to start. Some real evil people there. Granddaddy Prescott was a Nazi banker, was involved in a fascist coup to kill FDR, and was intimately involved in the American fascist movement radiating for Yale University... His son was a real piece of work... You should watch "Blood and Oil"... You can see how he LIED to keep or troops overseas... Not to mention Hinkley was buds with the Bush family and shot Reagan while Bush Sr. sat in the wings... OMG there is sooo much that no one ever talks about...

Maybe learn what a NEO CON actually is... Do you even know? Maybe look into PNAC... There's a good place to start...

Funny thing how many of us are so opinionated. Perfect example of why the left organize so easily, and use that to chip our freedoms away piece by piece. The leftist seem to easily flock together, it is in their nature. They'll let their thoughts and minds be dictated by the leader of the insanity. And then, have no other course of reason.

Us gun owners, by nature, are more independent, wary, and thoughtful; examining every move. In a way, our very independence and love for freedom is our downfall. Unless we could put away the petty and minor differences and stand together, we''ll fall prey to these gun grabbers and freedom stealers.

There are many out there that do not like the choices we have in Nov. However, that choice is much much better than what is going on now in the whitepalace.
We need to get his highness out of there, and return the palace back into a house. Don't waste your vote on someone who defiantly will not win, don't abstain in protest. You might as well just go ahead and vote for the dictator and chief himself.

Well, I believe, no, I know, that everyone has the freedom to do what ever it is they want, so long as they cause no harm or infringe upon the right of another to do as he wants. That being said, I still dont see what purpose it serves giving and regard to a poll conducted by The View, or anyone else for that matter. At best they will probably scew the results if any are published at all. But more likely, I would say they were gathering IP addresses.

I realize that Mitt Romney isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread, BUT, he is without a doubt, the lesser of 2 evils. The "movers and shakers" gave us our 2 choices, and WE, as PRO-GUN owners, MUST vote "Hussein" out of office in November. I voted because the poll gave me a means to expresss my opinion. I actually like the fact that the poll was put up by The View, because our voices are then heard by people who would otherwise ignorantly join an antigun group. When 78% of the people who voted in the poll agree, that is a super majority, which is more than what it would take to amend our Constitution. If you remain silent, you will never be heard, and your rights will errode before your very eyes. If we put aside our minor differences and join together we could secure gun rights for generations to come.
