Yeah--that won't stay there too long.....gotta put up old rusty banged up ones to last.
where I'm at in Texas,TX-DOT puts your mailbox up,break-aways,that way stupids don't get hurtWhen I lived in Louisiana, I built a house and had a matching brick mailbox / news paper holder built. After it got knocked down by local boys running their pick ups at night, I had Steel Eye beams cemented in the ground under all the brick. Sure enough a few months later I heard a big crash in the middle of the night and there were two boys and their wrecked pick up on my front lawn. One hit his head pretty bad as apparently he had not put his seatbelt on and Yep - I got sued. Fortunately my attorney was able to get a summary judgement and the suit got dropped and the parents paid to have my mail box rebuilt. After all the stories in the local paper, it never happened again, but then I moved to Nashville. (Franklin actually) and I never had the same problem there.
Bob is in a very special residential area of New Jersey and I am sure that his neighbors know what is inside and since his house is not on a main road, it will probably last for a while.
