I was looking through some old pictures and I ran across these which I took at the S&W Collector's Meeting in 1995 in Springfield, MA.
Another member had the first Model 41 made. It was a pre production tool room prototype, made as a gift to John T Amber, editor of Gun Digest and was fully engraved and gold filled. The box was commissioned for the gun by the member.
I know this is primarily a rifle forum, but this is an accurate firearm. Besides, I just like Model 41's.
