The F Class Regional at Capitan

I know in the past, they’ve always done 600 on Sunday. It gets done earlier in the day, to give people traveling an earlier start headed home.

Anybody have any pics of the terrain, firing points, pits, etc
Jeff, From 600 to the targets has some changes but not bad. However there’s a drainage creek about the 800 line. So there’s bigger changes between 1000 and 600 lines. It makes for challenging conditions at times. Generally the winds are moving from left to right. Capitan mountains in the background. It’s a beautiful range with pronghorn passing through at times. About the same elevation as Raton. Firing points are pea gravel.
