the Dwight Scott bolt modification?

Tony Boyer talks about bolt mods in his book. There are a few things that are done. To a rem type bolt the shroud is drilled to a slightly larger diameter half the depth of the shroud to lower the amount of possible drag to the pin fall.
On the Bat type actions the slot that is milled in the shroud is milled out slightly larger half the travel of the pin again to minimize the drag on pin fall.
These mods are pretty straight forward and Tonys book has illustrations. The next mod to Bat short actions such as the DS is not as clear to me. The firing pin has weight added to it and a different spring. Tony doesn't go into as much detail in his book on this mod. I'm not sure the amount of weight or the spring rate that D. Scott uses Is common knowledge. If you don't have Tony Boyer's book it is a good investment

Dwight Scott bolt mod, can this be done with most any custom or factory action? Like that of a Bat DS.

Is the OP referring to the roller bearing mod?

No Sir, Dwight will test firing pin spring strength vs weight of pin and make adjustments. These usually are weight added to the pin, and an extra strong firing pin spring.

My phone seemed to focus on the aft.. The first picture you can kinda see how it is pinned and can imagine a roller that would ride on the cocking cam..Someone personal messaged me that they have this on another action so that pretty much answer my question.. Now can I just order the part or do I need to send it to Mr. Scott? Monday I'll call I guess..
