The Brown Truck has my 6 BRA

My 6 BRA is on the way and I am really looking forward to shooting it. However, it may be coming too soon.......I sent my BAT bolt to ID Wednesday to have a roller cam installed and I don't know when I will get it back. Maybe one of my fellow BAT shooters will loan me a bolt.
Also, I am shooting it with a Ezell tuner. I guess that my old BAT is getting a facelift. I have 50 rounds loaded with 66gr. bullets and 32 gr. of 8208XBR for fireforming. My chamber is a no turn neck, but I am contemplating a very light clean-up cut. I will report on my progress and if any of you veteran 6 BRA shooters have any suggestions to shorten my learning curve, please chime in. Thanks, James Mock

you gonna run the BRA in short range or just using the 66`s to FF your brass,,I been thinkin about a 12 twist BRA to try Barts 80 gr in 100 and 200 yard UBR next spring,,

My barrel is an 8 twist and my plans are to shoot 105 gr. bullets at 600 yards. James

Brown Truck delivered my BRA barrel today!! Hope to load up and get it tuned before the next Williamsport match..if not the Dasher is ready to go!

Egan how about sending your old bud a nice new barrel so I can make a 6mm BRA! I'd love to try switching back and forth to really see which is best Dasher or BRA.

I think doing a clean up cut on the necks is a sound idea. Best of luck with your new rifle. I am doing one as an " over the winter " project. Just dropped 2K on glass for it Fri. Barrels, reamer & go here in Oct., action here in Nov/Dec, stock before the 1st of the year.....Fun, Fun, Fun..........
