The Blast 2025

"The Blast" shoot entries are underway.
Dates- May 2nd, 3rd and 4th Place - Flint Oak, Fall River, KS. Hosted by Jim and Sally Bauer and Vapor Trail Bullets
.22, Factory, Tactical, AR, and unlimited class shooting clay targets at 4 distances - kind of like the old Varmint Hunters Jamboree but with clay targets instead of balloons. Shooters may enter more than once and do not have to enter all 5 classes.
There is a 5 gun Championship and a team competition.
$12,000.00 of prize money and great door prizes
All profits from our shoot are split between Tunnels to Towers and Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center.

We have room for shooters but the rooms at Flint Oak Lodge are currently full except for beds in the bunk house. If you would like to attend, you can call, and I can suggest lodging.
We already have close to 100 entries.

It is. Maybe next year you should plan on it. The dates for 2026 are May 1,2,and 3 for completion. April 30th is practice day.

Went to practice on Sunday, but wussed out in the “cold” TX weather. 38, misty & 20mph north winds. Whatever. The name of the game is fun!

Speaking of… Mark & I are brining you a nice single barrel, white port finished, straight TX wheat whiskey from my neighbor’s place - 5 points distilling/ Lone Elm.

Thank you all for coming. We had a great time and we are already planning for next year. We will try to post the rest of the results. The shooters are amazing. Everyone was so generous. It will really help the 2 charities. It is so good to know that people with BIG hearts still do exist. Thanks everyone who helped and all the shooters and sponsors. Jim and Sally
