Just a note of thanks to Berger Bullets, I had an issue with a few boxes of Bergers and their response was unbeliveable, they had replacements on the way immediately. If you are on the line about which brand to buy choose Berger you want be wrong.

Good looking bullet and good company. Sadly their VLD bullets shoot terrible in everything I own. Did get a regular ogive one to shoot in a 22-250AI. All other experiences have been hideous and expensive wasts of good barrel life, my resources and time.

Sure hope that your findings are not the norm. I have several boxes of 105 VLD's on hand and just purchased some hybrids. I will be testing starting next month.

Sorry to read of a problem with Berger bullets. I am shooting them now with excellent results in a number of rifles.

I am using them just for something different. I never had a problem with Sierra's since the 50's however some rough looking bullets show up in Hornady boxes.

Lots of folks shooting and winning with Bergers. It's not the only bullet maker out there but they shoot outstanding in everything I have tried.

Bergers hybrids 105's are shooting extremely well in my 6br and my sons 6brx. We had just gotten a shipment in and found the issue. With me headed to Roanoke Va for the Br shoot on 4/28
and him headed to Raleigh NC for a tactical shoot on the same weekend we paniced when we thought we had to shoot another bullet. After one ph call to berger we were relieved to know replacements were on the way. Buy the way the shoots were on different weekends last year and my son won both, and the long range shoot all with berger vld hunting bullets.

I and my shooting/benchrest friends have shot bergers for many years. My small groups have always been shot with bergers. I respect the company and the products they make. Thanks to Walt, and all the rest of the folks that have made Berger bullets good.

Just the opposite for me, I bought some bergers and had a issue, called them about three times before they returned my call then sent in 5 bullets for them to analyze and check out and they said they would call me and more then likely send me some new bullets. I never heard from Berger. Way to many good bullet makers out there for me to have to deal with them.
