I would like to offer thanks to my fellow shooters and friends for their concerns and best wishes as I underwent a “Everolimus-Elutimg Platinum Chromium Coronary Stent Implantation“ yesterday.(How’s that for a fancy name”. I am assuming that with a name like that, they did not go with the cheaper model
Everything went great, they protected my Kidneys as prescribed during the procedure, and only had to insert one Stent in the lower branch of the left Anterior Descending Artery. They other suspected blockage was found to only be at around 40%.
My Cardiologist assured me that my heart is in great shape and I have not sustained any damage to it.
In short, by recognizing something was not right and getting it looked at, I avoided a heart attack.
So, I am looking forward to regaining much of the lost energy I have been experiencing in the past months and getting back to my normal routine.
I still have the bad Kidney thing to deal with. But at least they are still working. The main goal in that department is to maintain what kidney function I have remaining, (around 27%).
