I would like to offer thanks to my fellow shooters and friends for their concerns and best wishes as I underwent a “Everolimus-Elutimg Platinum Chromium Coronary Stent Implantation“ yesterday.(How’s that for a fancy name”. I am assuming that with a name like that, they did not go with the cheaper model :)

Everything went great, they protected my Kidneys as prescribed during the procedure, and only had to insert one Stent in the lower branch of the left Anterior Descending Artery. They other suspected blockage was found to only be at around 40%.

My Cardiologist assured me that my heart is in great shape and I have not sustained any damage to it.

In short, by recognizing something was not right and getting it looked at, I avoided a heart attack.

So, I am looking forward to regaining much of the lost energy I have been experiencing in the past months and getting back to my normal routine.

I still have the bad Kidney thing to deal with. But at least they are still working. The main goal in that department is to maintain what kidney function I have remaining, (around 27%).

Dr. keeps mentioning my kidneys arn't as they used to be but then he says, "lots of folks live with only one kidney"? Guess he never should have mentioned it in the first place?
Prayers for YOU and YOURS. KEEP smiling!! How in your wife holding up. Getting MUCH better I hope.
Getting older sucks at time but considering the alternatives, I'll take getting a little older anytime. ;)

I have the samething bad kidney about 27% . the biggest help is drink water and more water and keep drinking more water and my count is now 30% . And no POP .

Thank you for sharing, Jackie. Important lesson for us all to pay attention to how we feel and get it checked out when something is off.

I’m glad everything went well and you are soon to be back in action!
