Over the winter I had my smith build me a .243 A.I. it was a combination of the old and the new. A thirty year old Benchrest stock and Wichita Action of the same vintage with a new Hart 9 twist fluted barrel and New Zeiss 6.5 X 20 Conquest in Burris Z-Rings. This project was inspired by Matt B., when I saw his beautiful Farley actioned Lilja on the guns of the week section. With much help from the .243 section and Forum members pet loads as a guide, I can say the project has been a joint success. The rifle will shoot in the low 3's to high 2's all day long with 90 Gr. bergers and 107 SMK's and when I catch some good conditions and actually use my wind flags, the results can be real exciting. Thanks alot fellows.
