Well, I finally gave in and gave up today. After two days of no sleep, I had my wife take me to the ER 9AM this morn.
I was just so exhausted and couldn't get my breath. They loaded me up with tests and CT scans. The good news is my kidneys were running ok, my BS and BP were good so they could do the dye contrast CT. I have pneumonia, viral (duh) and they hope it will self resolve. Great news is no clots.
They gave me new albuterol, pumped me full of fluids, knocked me out with some fancy cough syrup....felt like a special elixer of 1percent red dye, 99 percent morphine. I slept about 15 minutes...a side effect of dealing with back pain for ten years. But those 15 minutes were heaven. I relaxed and could breath.
On an 02 sensor and resting at home. So grateful for good Dr, good tech and great health insurance. Gonna be out of work a little while longer which will be a small blow, but better than being dead!
Was able to watch my daughter do her first and second "solo" oil changes on our cars today, then went to bed. Have not slept, but feel that coming on. Only one spasm of cough since hospital. And I drank a coke...and could taste it. That is a good thing.
Just sooo weak and tired.

Is it a good thing to feel well enough to know you don't feel well?
Today was that day. I THOUGHT I was doing great. Till I tried to get off the couch, of the bed, off the chair. I have 1000 HP dreams and a 2 HP Briggs and Stratton.
Only one major cough till i puked bout today, so that is an improvement. I guess no work tomorrow as i had hoped...my bride says Ill be lucky to work at all this week.
I did get 25 Swift cases NECK sized. Yes, my last remaining load that I neck size for. That took all the energy I had. Now I am heading to bed.
Prayers for Rebel's MIL who had a health set back today. He prays for me. Time to return it.

So i am either getting better or fixin to die.
Today I felt pretty good. Nice warm day. Channeled my inner old man and trimmed the hedges with my new battery trimmer. a three hour job done in 45 mins, old man speed.
Hauled 15-18 wheelborrows of mulch. Worked ten mins, sat ten mins.
washed and scrubbed back porch for wifey.
Prepped 25 Swift brass
Took a walk.
Going back to work on Weds.

Wow waht a day. Woke up in the night with low BS. Had not had that in a long tme. Glad I woke!
Totally drained today. Foggy all day in brain fuzz. Did manage to run the spreader around my 90x200 back yard, putting down Ortho tick and bug killer prior to a rain predicted tonight that should settle it into the soil.
That was all I had in me. Just been sitting here sweating and drinking water. Gonna try to return to "work" tomorrow. I plan on 25 minutes of wrk, 7 hours and 35 mins of sitting in an office watching the camera.
Im not sure I am up to it, but the pay stopped Monday.

Just sent my son $400 to help him out. He works for a not for profit and raises his own support. he was short this month, so I sent my barrel money.
God knows he needs it more than I need a barrel
