Hay just wanted to say thanks for all the advice y'all gave me on the front rest. Sent for the caldwell rock br and finally got it out for the fist time today and boy you talking about a game changer! It's not the best thing for shooting the bench because I'm short but other then that this thing makes test shooting so much more fun then trying to balance a front bag on top of a sand sock lol! Now only if I had got to the range in time and was able to shoot all five before it got dark !



Will say though I still got some leaving to do when it come to getting that nice straight back recoil I see y'all get .

Now you need to get a good rear bag to help with the tracking. Rabbit hole only gets deeper and deeper..

The short problem goes away with a drummer's stool, adjustable for height. one more thing to spend money on, but most likely necessary.

Consider a taller stool if the front rest sits too high
