I agree I am at this stage turning cases using their neck turning lathe. Coming from a kn setup, I find it easier and more accurate. My next step will be to get a new reamer and have one of John's seating dies reamed to spec. I must say that the win at the palma champs was done in 30mph winds at 900 yards with 26 moa dialled in and harsh wind buffeting to match. How I won it was by learning from this site how the benchresters shoot fast in the wind patches and wait on the adverse conditions. I also used a camera and filmed a wind flag time lapse up to 1 hour before my time to take the firing point. That way I could see in a 3 minute video a summary of 1 hour of wind changes on the range. Technology in the rifle and ammo combo will take a back seat to wisdom at the range any day of the week.

Youve obviously got things working for you..there’s plenty of positives when shooting fast on a condition.. But at the end of the day great equipment, a well tuned rifle and excellent wind reading skills are all needed in this game to win at the higher levels regularly.
