Came across an OLD 700 in 222 for a very very good price and just received it. The barrel is marked CR & PJ Hart, its sitting in a 3 piece laminate stock. It came with 50 brand new brass and I had some 52 nosler custom comp blems on the bench. Tried Varget, N133, and H4895 in groups of 4 per charge weight. Shooting off a carpet covered board and using a rear bag, this thing shoots very well. I've always wanted to try the triple deuce, and am very impressed with this rifle.

slm, Congratulations that is a very nice looking rifle. Wish it was in my safe that's for sure. No surprise really that it is a shooter, remember that the .222 held the 100 yd Benchrest record for many, many years at .009.

Nice looking rifle. You didnt happen to pick this up at Surplus Ammo in Tacoma did you? Just saw we had a 222 Remington 700 sent to us for a customer. I never got a chance to lay eyes on it while it was in our shop.
