Texas State LR - Day 2 and final results

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that the first F-Open relay didn't have too much wind, but it looks like it didn't stay that way.

Lots of good shooters down at this one.

My only regret is that in the haste to pay off the award money, I didn’t take the radio from Ben and have the shooters give Ben Brooks, Glen Edgard and Don Diffey the recognition that they earned by working their asses off this weekend. They sacrificed their shooting so that others like me could have fun. They deserve all the credit and everyone gratitude for a terrific event.

I am also very grateful to all the shooters that participated for their camaraderie and good sportsmanship that make these events truly fun. I feel like we are truly brothers from different families united by our passion for shooting. There is no place I'd rater be than at the range with them.

100% agree with all of that..! Don Diffy,Ben Brooks and Glenn Edgard are the super starts of the week! They sacrificed the weekend to allow us to play this game..! ....Thanks to all of you guys....

Wow. That's all I can say. Great shooting and a congratulations to all that competed. An even bigger shout out to the winners. Great shooters and great ambassadors to the sport. Larry B, you are da man.

Steve

I would also like to add to this and send out a big thank you to the target pullers.
You are right to give them a big thank you. There are times when it all comes together. Great scores mean great shooters, but also great pit service, great range, great support staff, great match director. They should all be acknowledged. I will have to put this match on my 2019 calendar, so I can at least say I shot at what may be one of the best matches out there.

"Great job", goes out to all that made it happen.

Steve

:p
Otis Riffey, Marksman class & 2nd place overall. Great job you super sandbagger!:p

Scott I can tell you I was shocked as heck about getting 2nd. I had to take 4or5 double looks at that and ask a few people if I was seeing that right.I was thinking 5th or 6th.I know I was more interested in the show down between Ray and Jason.PJ told me no more shooting what the NRA has me registered as or he’s going to protest..he’s a good team mate.:p
