I'm interested in finding a group to shoot with in Texas and learning. Specifically east of Dallas and surrounding. I'm interested in most anything except rim fire. Looking to find a club and build a rifle for that class. Not real picky right now I just want to shoot!!. I plan to go to the fly shoot and Panola County to watch.

Way more fun to shoot than watch.

If you're interested in High Power shooting, Panola County Gun Club is a great club. Another very good club closer to Dallas is the Terrell Gun Club. They do a lot of Garand matches. HTH.

a private range around Cumby has 3-4 300 yd shoots, NTSA has 8 shoots 200 yd. open and tactical, Graham 130 mi. west of Dallas has 1-100yd,3-200 yd,3-33o yd,2-400 yd. and 1 550 yd. open, tactial, HOTSA has some critter shoots from

I agree Kyle but I have to know a little about the match before I can compete.. Terrell is about 30 miles from me I wasn't aware they had much of a range but I will call them.

Your right Larry, That was for amusment purposes only. I know of at least 2 that are adequate. They shoot on my team.
