ShootDots,

If ya ever "wuss out" ;D and want to try point blank Benchrest dont forget about Tomball Gun Clubs VFS Club matches.

TGC will host a 200yd VFS match the first Sunday in June 2011.

I promise you'll have a good time just make sure you take it easy on us. ;D

You will have a good time anytime you go to a match at Tomball; no matter what the format. But I have to tell you Vic and a couple of others at Tomball are tough to beat. Vic regularly strums me but I keep going back. Have to make him earn it. :>)

You will enjoy our LR clay target matches that I mentioned above also. There are some tough shooters there as well but we do get a real good meal at these shoots.

Guys I am in Conroe and would love to shoot some competions. I don't know where or what class my guns would fall under. I am a fairly good shooter. Also I need to know cause I am mind blank on the name of the pieces that cover the barrel to keep heat waves from distorting the view thru the scope. Where can I get this also?

Thanks

John

You can buy one or make one, alot cheaper, Use an old vertical blind. Cut to the length you want. Glue some velcro to the barrel and blind and stick it on.

good shooting, Jim
