As it was explained to me once, it doesn't matter how many rounds you have, if they aren't in magazines, they don't count. Might be some truth to that these days.

I may have a few magazines loaded on hand however I rarely have any other ammo LOADED. I reload the ammo I’m gonna shoot on the weekend during the preceding week nights. Truthfully I couldn’t load a bunch anyway because I dint have alot of brass. But who needs alot of 6BR brass when it lasts forever.
