Test bricks from Whiddon

We had a lot of SK Red Rifle Match that has been shooting lights out--won three matches , several seconds etc
Have not been able to get much else--so we ordered test brick 5 lots of SK Red from Whidden--all five lots tested yesterday in 2 rifles--No Go! Ummmmmmm--very disappointed we were dreaming of finding another lot that was good
Oh well that is the way it goes--I have 25 boxes left of my good stuff then we are back to the drawing board
Looks like a dry spell in the market at the moment for good 22 ammo

Ain't rimfire fun! But shout out to Whidden for doing Something to help--the Test Brick program is like Poor Mans testing and a much needed try at helping shooters THANKS WHIDDEN!

I also grabbed a test lot brick of SK RM and also a test lot brick of SK+ and Eley Match from Whidden last week. Tested it Saturday.

We didnt find anything great with all 5 lots of SK RM in the test brick but the SK+ shot WAY BETTER. Just an fyi...

Here my test targets from my 2500x/MW 8MI

I recently purchased a couple of bricks of Std Plus which shot great during testing, will scale up for confirmation soon.

What lots did you get???

FWIW I have seen lots of adjustable stools at matches--Got this one today from Amazon $25! It is strong and sturdy and comfortable--Returned the one that looked like motorcycle seat as it was a Prostate murderer--This round one is MUCH better killer deal for the $$

The best way to evaluate how you are doing is to shoot in a match. The IR 50/50 Nationals is coming up the end of the month. Plan to be there and you will learn more in that weekend than you will in a year of testing at home. Plus you will meet a bunch of great guys.
TKH

I just looked this up and is in PA which I am a PA native. Sounds like a lot of fun and a good test. I'm going to try and make it

are they on your web sight or is it by phone call?

They are on the website. Go to SK RM or SK+ or Eley Match and then click the drop down to select your LOT number and youll see an option called test brick. That test lot brick will come with 2 boxes each of 5 different lots

Ordered SK Rifle Match test brick from Whidden last Tuesday, it was delivered Thursday, tested Sunday (yesterday), ordered 3 bricks (tested from test brick) last night and just got shipping confirmation before 10am this morning; very impressed with how Whidden is embracing and supporting the 22LR community with these test bricks!

Rifle: RimX, 26" Ace VCC contour (1.250->1.050), Eachus Chamber, MPA Matrix Chassis, Triggertech Diamond Trigger, Vortex Viper PST (Gen1) FFP, Atlas V10 bipod. ~525 rds on barrel. Given how thick the reticle is and how the Armageddon Gear Schmedium is a big squeeze bag I have no doubt I could have gotten tighter groups with a more consistent POA but this is the rig I'm using in NRL22 so that's what I tested with. 5 shots each unless otherwise noted (targets 8&9).

SK Rifle Match ( 5 lots / 25 shots per lot = 125 total rds SD=7; ES=38; Avg 1068fps)

Has the propensity to shoot a lot of elevation it seems, maybe a tuner is in order

Looking at my SK RM Test Lot brick target, I had all the same lots as you except for 1... Shot pretty much the same as yours but I shot tighter on 10272 but this was in my 2500x/MW 13twist/Rotex/SEB Neo....

The SK+ test lot brick I got shot much better than the SK RM test lot brick I got in my chamber.. But, the Eley Match shot WAYYYY better than both these SK test lot bricks.. I ordered 2 cases of the Eley after shooting the Eley Match test brick... FYI

I have 3 barrels coming back from Manzella he just cut for me (GM 1.2, ACE 1.2 and Krieger 1.2) so Ill retest in those and see if I get the same results as my MW.. I did grabbed half a case of the best shooting SK+ after testing that.
