Teslong borescope?

Texas Solo

B.S. High Master
Looking at getting one. Question is which one. I need the longer one for my 30" barrel. I also think the flexible model would be easier to use.
All that said, do I want/need the WIFI feature?
Can I hook up the image to my PC monitor with the WIFI, or do I need a USB cable?

Looking at the NTG150W model. I've read the reviews, but prefer honest/experienced opinions.
Midway $90

I have the 45" flexible and for me it is useable but not as easy as a rigid. With that said I like to run the full barrel and chamber from one end and a short rigid may not do that for the longer barrels. I think you may need to install an emulator to use it on a PC or laptop. I use mine with an Android app on my phone.

The WiFi version can be used 'as is' with laptops or computers by having your computer look for available WiFi access with the Teslong unit turned on. The unit can be also plugged directly into a laptop (if the new ones are like my several years old model) simply by unplugging the WiFi unit from the probe and plugging the probe unit directly into the laptop, chromebook or computer (or android phone). The end that plugs into the WiFi unit is a USB and will fit your computer. A USB to Mini-C (normal charging port size for most of today's phones) adapter will allow use with android phones...NOT IPhones as they don't furnish enough voltage to the connector to operate the Teslong. Hope that didn't confuse you!

I have both a flexible and rigid. The new focusable has a superior image. I prefer the rigid but it’s not long enough for lots of barrels for one end only. You have to come in from either end. Not that big of a deal. For quick full length inspections is where I’ll use the flexible.

This helps. Much thanks.

I use the flexible one with the attached monitor that comes as a "kit". Monitor is adequate for my needs, no wifi issues, syncing with a laptop, etc. Turn it on, turn it off, it works. LOL

I have 4 of them all flex cable, but I have 2 with monitors, the monitor style is great for quick looks but a large monitor like Donovan uses is great also and you can use it for checking die cleanliness all sorts of things, looking at your car at night under the wheels but with the monitor you can also unplug and hookup to a large monitor...you will like it when you get it
