Yes. I was referring to thread size only. A square thread by that drawing would leave what amounts to a scratch pass on that portion of the shank. I had one apart a few years ago, but danged if I measured it or remember that feature.The 1922 has a smooth section that extends past the original location of the locking lugs . The 1922 bolt is locking on the rear and is shorter so tenon is longer
