Tenon dimension for Springfield 1922

Does anyone have the dimensions for a 1922 tenon?

Finally got all my parts and pieces for a softer build and would find it a bit easier with a drawing to look at..... Of course I know every thing will have to be fit...

I will be darned.....senility is tough!

I can't read the dimensions (even zoomed) but its there.

Thanks gentlemen

It is tough to read, but I believe I have gotten them all right except the major diameter. Looks like 1.047 which seems to make sense since ISO square thread root to crest dimension is P/2 and P is 1/10 or 0.100 making P/2 0.050. Adding that to 1.000 minor would be 1.050.

Pretty much the same as a 1903. 1.040" major dia. , .050" square thread, with a .990" minor. The McFarland drawing shows .040" deep with a 1.000" minor. At least you have enough to go on to turn and thread a test chunk for your action.

The 1922 has a smooth section that extends past the original location of the locking lugs . The 1922 bolt is locking on the rear and is shorter so tenon is longer

Yes. I was referring to thread size only. A square thread by that drawing would leave what amounts to a scratch pass on that portion of the shank. I had one apart a few years ago, but danged if I measured it or remember that feature.
