Congratulations Bill Vaughn on the Tennessee state championship great show of marksmanship .many great shooters shooting for the top position Russ Theurer lead day one. Phil Crowe ,Gary Hudson not far behind .day 2 calmed down and finished with Bill Vaughn ,Phil Crowe , and Doug Fletcher great shooting men,

Also shooting at the Match were F-Class shooters, and congratulations to Wade who shot the best F-TR 20 shot string I've ever witnessed with a 199-7.

Where was the Match held? It it always later in the year?

As Long as I can remember it has always been right around the first couple weekends of Sept.

Just not to confuse anyone this was the Sling State Long Range Championship ( F Class is always incuraged to attend and welcome with open arms) Jim holds the F class Long Range State match at Tullhoma Earlier in the year. Two Great events and two chances to shoot long range no matter what you shoot.... Good thinking right?

TN Mid Range State Championship both F class and Sling is in Rocktober @ Memphis TN. Seperate Trophies for In state, Out of State, Overall and a bunch more. C'Mon over.

Results attached. Thanks everyone for attending. Way cool was Allen Lynch, Medal of Honor Recipient, joining us to fire a few shots on Saturday. Several MOH recipients joined ORSA on Saturday as part of the MOH convention in Knoxville.
