Tennessee Long Range State Championships Sep 7-9 2012

Just a reminder that the Oak Ridge Sportsman Assc. Will be holding the Tennessee State Long Range Championships on the 7th through the 9th of September. F-Class is welcomed but just a note, the F-Class State Championships will bee held the first weekend of Sep in Tullahoma Tennessee.

Friday will be a warm up and sighting day,
Saturday will be Any/Any, Any/irons, Any/irons.
Sunday will be Any/Any, Any/Irons

A meal and drinks will be presented to the competitors after the completion of shooting on Saturday at the ORSA club house and on Sunday, we will be treeted to Pizza and drinks at Big Ed's!

More info can be obtained at the ORSA Highpower website.

Hope to see you there!

The lastest prediction is 50% sat morning, if this the case, more than likely will shoot matches on sat and then the other three on Sunday. The nice thing about the fall matxh is that the sun lights up the targets nicelu even as late as 7pm in the evening. So even if we could not get a start till 2pm, there is enough time to get the three matches in on sat or just do two matches on sat and threee on Sunday.

SO DO NOT LET THE CURRENT WEATHER FORCAST SCARE YOU OFF!

The match went well. We were able to get the first couple relays in on Saturday, then we had to wait out the rain. After the rain, we were able to get the last relay in. The dinner was great. They catered BBQ/chicken/baked beans/potato salad/cole slaw/pecan pie/banana pudding.

Today it was beautiful. I really need to shoot there more to figure out the wind nuances, but they run a very good match and I enjoy the people there.

I wish you and Jana could have made it too. Can Jana get the old man at 1000 yards too?

Hope someone chimes in here on the results.
