How many shoot in high temp changes?
Although my load is still accurate at 10*F, its amazing to me how much elevation I've lost compared to when I did the initial load work in the summer at a temperature in the high 70's.
This is just a general example of what I've found with one particular rifle. Even though such large temperature variation, I am still surprised this load is still accurate. Sub MOA.
Any others having the same results, and have you learned it is the rifle, or rifle load combination?
How do you compensate? Just the addition of powder, or do you just run your sights up?
I've been running the sights up as of now, but contemplating a hotter load for winter use.
Interested in what others have found, thanks.
