Temp sensativity of Ramshot Grand?

I have been working on loads for the 25 PRC and Ramshot Grand has been producing some very good groups for me so far. Still want to try a cpl more loads up/down and primers but I am pretty happy right now.

I have basically never used Ramshot anything but its available commonly and thought I would give it a go. I'm curious if you guys have any background on what the temp sensativity looks like? I can deal with it being less temp stable but if its an extreme I think that might put me over the edge as I am working with reasonably hot loads. 134 ELDs at 3100 @ 69 degrees with 27" tube thus far. Not sure how finiky this load will be for accurcy up or down in velocity yet either so thats a huge consideration.

Any input

I just started working with the Grand myself. Grand is hopefully a replacement for Reloder 22 in my 270 Win. I'd used the '22 for many years and only the last few years learned that '22 is temp sensitize. Despite that, I've used it in and around zero degrees and it always went bang and stuff was killed. All that said, I've heard Grand should be much better in temp swings than '22.

Early results look like the velocity is very good with Grand, but more testing is needed.

Keep us posted on your findings.

In the Ramshot line, i have only worked with Ramshot Hunter which
falls in between H-4350 and H-4831. Never shot it below 35 degrees
but from there on up, very stable and accurate. Because of it's better
case fill, I do not use H-4831SC anymore. Do not need magnum primers
with it either.

I will try mag primers, and others, as the ES was a little higher than I like to see but not bad. I AGREE otherwise on probably not needed.
