Those using the Bullseye Sniper Edition capable to 1 mile https://www.shootingmadeeasy.com/target-camera-sniper-edition/

and those using the LongShot LR-3 capable to 2 miles https://www.longshotcameras.com/collections/spotting-scope/products/longshot-lr-3

How do you like them and do they do what they say they will. I have a system that works great that I built but its not as convenient to set up as these units. I like Adams ShotMarker but thats not what I'm looking for at this time. Looking for the camera set up. If there is something else I would like to hear about that also.
Thanks in advance.

Well when I finally get my Longshot LR-3 camera I will give you a report. I am patiently waiting as I ordered it in March and they haven’t shipped yet. There was a series of upgrades they put in it so I am hoping it will be worth the wait.

Also ordered LR3 in the spring - still waiting. Heard my unit is supposed to ship here shortly.

I have the LR 2 it works great with the shoot and see targets but not at all on the NRA official targets

I have the Bullseye Long Range Edition. This is the order model. I've had it for 3 years and it's about time to replace one of the batteries.

I haven't had any issues with it at all, but many people do. You can see their complaints on several threads on the forums. The newest one out by SME looks much better than the original. The software I'm running in the older version is the same software in the Sight in Edition & Sniper Edition. I guess if you call it a Sniper Edition it seems cooler to tell someone what you have. Regardless, I like mine and would buy one if I was in market for another. The one I have I won in a drawing at the Shot Show in 2016.

You can also build your own without the fancy software and it will work at very extended ranges. You would be able to see all your hits and record it if needed. This guy built his on Target Camera Video system. He made this video in 2012 so in 7 years the technology has really changed and it should be easier. I would do more research and see what's out there for the DIY person. I only shoot at 300 yards on the range so the Bullseye works for me. If I was going to go any further I would make something similar to what the fellow in the video made.
