What do you use on it an iPad? Is the picture clear ?Yes and it is the cats meow... Very very useful... We use it to 1000 yards no problem.
OK thanks alot.... can you use it for 2 shooters at a time ?Yes I use an iPad. The picture is clear. We setup the camera about 15-20 feet away and put a piece of AR500 plate in front of it to protect it (just in case). You can use live video mode to get the camera adjusted just like you want it before heading back to your shooting position. Once you get back and start shooting, just tap on SHOW SHOT and the last bullet hole will flash. On the iPad you can still zoom into one particular section of the full target which helps sometimes. Sometime a fly or bug will land on the target and will look like a bullet hole, however typically you will know if it's a bug or not. The iPad app also allows you to mark shots on the iPad screen so you can track the order of shots for doing ladder test or other purposes. There are other features that I have not used yet, but this camera has made LR shooting more productive for our group. You will love it..
I had difficulty with the system for distances over 600 yards. I had the long range version with antenna upgrade but still could not get consistent results at 1k. I use the Target Vision system now and it works like a champ. It's more expensive but has never failed once.
Thanks alot for your info ,I appreciate it .Yes we usually have an iPad each that work independently of each other but are wirelessly connected to the same camera. You will just need to let your partner shoot and when he hits SHOW SHOT then the next shooter fires and so on... Sometimes we let one shooter do a 10 shot string and switch to next shooter.
Ammocam I meant to say lol....I had difficulty with the system for distances over 600 yards. I had the long range version with antenna upgrade but still could not get consistent results at 1k. I had the bigger version (came in a toolbox looking thing). Had the yagi antenna which was supposed to be good for a mile, but like I said never worked past 600.Ammocam I meant to say lol....

OK thanks for your post ...have you ever tried it out further ? I shoot 1000 yards alot I'm interested in something that's going to be good out that far with a 308..I have the Bullseye Ammo Cam HD. Using the Android SW on Samsung tablet. They recently updated the Android to the full functions of the PC version. Great system. I have been using it at 600 yards on a regulation F-Class target. No problems seeing 308. HD image is sharp. Display quality is key. Use a bright tablet.
One of the members had the older camera long range version that would not resolve 30 cal in the black. They upgraded his system for a nominal fee.
Great support if needed. New SW allows saving sessions.
No, I have not gone past 600.OK thanks for your post ...have you ever tried it out further ? I shoot 1000 yards alot I'm interested in something that's going to be good out that far with a 308..
OK thanksNo, I have not gone past 600.
OK good to know ! Thank you for your comment .Coyote Bill, we go to 1000 with no problems with the non-HD bullseye camera. We tried to push the mile with it but it wouldn't do it.. If I remember correctly we started having issues at about 1350 yards. We are in an open field, no obstruction in line of sight whatsoever.
