Target cameras

Hi guys been looking at maybe getting one off these but I've seen good and bad reports about them anybody had anything to do with them ? Bullseye targetcam was one and the other was

Have you tried doing a search on here because one fella made one up of common components and in the thread he listed all of them and where he got them.

I have one of the Bullseye target cams and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't even take my scope to the range with me anymore. The only thing I can complain about is myself, sometimes I'm spending too much time looking at the screen and not concentrating hard enough on my shot. So now I don't look at every shot but in groups of 3 - 5 shots instead.

I had one problem with the antenna and called to ask about it, they said they'd send me the part I needed to fix it and I had it in hand two days later. Great customer service.

I also have the Bullseye system. The first time I took it to the range I had some problems. The software couldn't find my laptop and while it worked on my note 3 phone it would sometimes lose connection and lock up. I contacted the company and it turned out the software on the USB drive was corrupt. And the android version had just been released and still had a couple of bugs.

The solution was to d/l a software update. I chose to put it directly on my hard drive so I didn't have to use the usb drive at all. Another suggestion they made was to put the box (containing the antenna) on a milk crate or chair.

It now works great. I've tested it out to 825 yds with no problems. There is one quirk with the system and that is it won't consistently pick up a bullet hole in a black target in normal mode. There is a work around for this and it's really not a problem for me.

I would definitely recommend the system. Great customer service is a plus
