i havent used one but it sure seems like a great concept...i have used a spotting scope with my digital camera attached and just put the setting to video setting with a large memory card in it...my camera also records sound so along with the video i verbaly speak out what shot number im on...normaly because there is other gunfire on the range and it can be hard to distinguish my shots from others. works great but i only use it out to 200yrds...but this unit looks like it would be the ticket for any distance over 200yrds.

of course i have to either replay my video to see the shots or wait for the shot string to be done to replay where my bullets hit..the main reason i use this is so i can shoot several targets while load testing and not have to run down range after every target to write down the load info. i can just speak it into the camera..may not be for everyone but it helps me keep track of what im doing

You can build your own way cheaper, it's been covered ond recovered many times in the Forums....do a Search using "target camera" and you'll get a ton of info.

+1 for Taildrag...Go to ebay a search long range transmitter....the last I looked you could get a transmitter/reciever set that would go out to 1000 meters for around $40 plus shipping. Then get a small security camera and 12V TV or laptop and you should be good to go.

I have been doing a ton of research and found this one. I was just curious if anyone had good luck with this specific setup? I am on the fence about tackling the project.

If you can plug together a VCR/DVD player to a TV you can handle setting up a Reciever/Transmitter system.......besides there are many of us on here that would gladly walk you through it if needed.
