Tape for stock

I can't come up with the correct name for the tape that would be applied to a stock fore end bottom to make it slide freely.
Any help or suggestions where to purchase would be appreciated.

"Stock tape" as supplied by Tru-Kote or Sinclair....usually made in two different types...both different grades of Teflon

I did a search earlier because I needed some but the wait was too long so a forum member helped me out, I do have some on order but it will be close to a month before it gets here but if you haven't got any by that time I will send you some.

I use UHMW polyethylene tape, .005" x 6". It comes in 15' rolls. That may be a lifetime supply. UHMW is very close to teflon's friction coefficient but is much more abrasion resistant. If you are shooting from a bench, it may not be a problem. If shooting F-Class, consider UHMW. [br]
