Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mounts

Hi guys, first time posting on here for me. I have a new-to-me M70 7mm with a Shilen magnum sporter barrel. I'm mounting a NF NXS 5.5-22x50 on it and would like to use Talley lightweight alloy scope mounts. I've never used these one piece ring/base mounts before or had such a heavy scope on a relatively light rifle. Will the Talley lightweights be able to handle the recoil and heavier scope? Anyone had any experience with these on a similar setup? If so, how did they work out for you? Thanks for your time.

I have them on all my hunting rifles and absolutely love em’. Everything from 243win to 300WM and scopes from kahles Nikon and a really heavy millet 4-16x56mm that’s like a tank.

I bed all my ring bases and lap and bed the scopes into the rings and I’ve never had a problem with any of them.

Also they’re made not to far from where I live, so for me it’s a no brainer to use and support them!

Talley is the only brand that I’ve ever seen break under recoil, I mean personally seen not just read on the internet. They are designed to save weight. I’d use a more robust system for such a robust rifle and scope. Jmho.

I have them on a few rifles- one piece and base ring combos. My heaviest recoiler- a 6lb 33nosler with a huge vx-l leupold has a set of the one piece base ring sets
