tall target turret value math help

So I did several tall target tests as described by Bryan Litz. At 100 yards I got this. 10moa up = 10.75", 20moa up = 21.75" and 30 moa up = 32.75. So at 30moa x 100 yards = 3000 x .01047 = 31.41 expected. 32.75 - 31.41 = 1.34. In my ballistic calculator it asks for turret valve 1.000 being 1 moa. Sense my turret value is greater than expected what value should I put? Something like .9---- my guess is I'm 3.4% over and 1.000 - .034 = .966. Yah? Total math dummy here. Mike

If the expected value is 31.41 and you are seeing 32.75, then there is a 4.26% increase from the expected value -- (32.75-31.41)x100/31.41 = 4.26%

Correction Factor is calculated by dividing your expected POI shift by your actual POI. In your case, expected is 31.41 divided by actual of 32.75. This equals a CF of 0.95908397. You would enter 0.96 as the CF in your program.
