Remove 2 more last night. Female at carcass decided to turn around before comitting 100%, but my special super duper coyote growling stopped her just long enough....Thwaaaap, about 170 yards.
On my way out I decided to make a set about 800 yards from the carcass over looking a drainage & within 20 seconds one comes running in jumping up & down in the grasses, I drop it when it stopped to look up at the sound and I can see it disappear from the thermal as it melts into the grass. Im sitting up on a bluff looking down and the grasses ate it whole, stuff was over 4 feet tall and thick, Going out in the daylight to find it with a dog. Thanks to the rains just about everything is taller than a coyote in the fields/drianages.
There is a coyote in there someplace.
