Here's something for the ballistic experts to discuss. <g> I reload 223 Remington for a three bolt and one semi-auto, a 22 BR, 6mm BR, and 22-250. Let's say I reload for the 22-250 5% of the time, the 223 Rem's about 45% of the time, the 6mmBR 30% of the time, and the 22 BR about 20% of the time.,I hope that totals 100%). Consider all ranges as 100 yards on paper targets only.
For someone who is getting ready to order powder, say 10 lbs, what powders would you restock for these calibers, and why? I am partial to Hodgdon powders and I have a lot of experience with Varget, H322, and Benchmark, but I am soliciting your opinions as good powders for my stable of rifles.
So I'm interested in seeing what recommendations ya'll make......thanks.
PS - I've gotten tips on component availablility here before, so I'll pass on one myself in return: Midway has 22 cal 52 gr Matchkings on sale and in stock for $15.15 per hundred. Don't get the box of 500, it's more than 5 * $15.15.
