TAC for .308 gas gun?

I recently picked up a ruger sfar in .308. I have a pile of tac and bullets from 130-180 grain. Just wondering what your experience is with this combo.

I have used TAC in 308 and believe I have shot it in my SFAR. Will have to look back at some targets and see if I have any. I know I was trying to find a load with 150's.

I was looking, my Tac loads I kept targets on were for bolt gun. It shot very well. I also loaded 150's for my SFAR but shot them at steel so no targets kept.

I had pretty good results using 44 grains with 150 grain bullets in my M1-A, though Reloader 15 was superior in my rifle. N140 and IMR 4064 were good too.

I use TAC but prefer to use it with the lighter bullets, 125, 147 & 150gr.
I love it in 223 because of its metering.

TAC works in my FAL to fake M80 siblings. N140 for serious loads in the M1a. TAC is also my numero uno for 223 generic loading, like plinkers for kids/nephews/nieces. Uncle D is the go to guy to for plinking ammo. There again, N140 is for my DCM/NRA Highpower rifle.

Reloader 15 has been superior for me in every .308 based cartridge i have loaded. However, i have a pile of tac, and not so much rl15.

i loaded some test loads with tac and 150 grn nosler bt, because i also have a pile of these. Im just using this as a fun thing. I’ll try some 165’s too.
