t7t trigger - any experience?

That's a relatively new trigger isn't it (coming out in late 2014)? I've heard it was on the pricey side. I'd also be curious to see how it compares to say a Jewell as well.

I did see a post (only one person) on snipershide about the t7t not holding adjustments and requiring readjustment every 100 rounds or so. Can anyone comment if this is an actual issue?

Don't mean to hyjack your thread, but if that is the case, that is NOT the only trigger as of late that has the same issue of having to be re-adjusted more often. About six month ago, I bought a relatively new model Timney Trigger (Calvin Elite) to put in a newly built 30BR. My Gunsmith changed out the trigger after about 2 months of shooting the with original Remington action trigger. The CE trigger worked well at first and it was set to as low as my Gunsmith felt it would operate without a slam fire. But about 100 - 150 rds into use, the rifle started to slam fire. Talk about an annoying incident and it kept doing it. So we adjusted it and it was ok for some 100 rds again and there she went again...slam fires. That was enough for me so I bought a Jewell (should have started there) and no problems with an even lighter trigger pull. Bottom line, IMHO some of these newer trigger have come out in an attempt to compete with the Jewell market. Again IMHO, don't do it until someone fixes these things that should not occur in the first place.

Oh yeah, a good friend with 50+ years of reloading and shooting was kinda enough to take that Calvin Elite off my hands and give me some money so I wouldn't take a complete financial bath. He tried it in his Rem 40X 6.5BR and guess what it did for him.....yep....Slam Fire after initialing being install BY A GUNSMITH with 30+ years experience in the business. Last I heard that trigger was on it's way back to Timney with some unkind words. I REALLY do hope these new trigger issues get worked out because I suspect these trigger work nicely (when they work as intended) and don't cost as much as a Jewell. But I have learned my lesson about triggers and will buy a Jewell whenever they make one for the rifle I have built or shoot.

P.S. This is not an attempt to bad mouth Timney triggers in the least because I have Timney triggers in some of my other rifles and am very pleased with their performance. It is the Calvin Elite model that has given me problems, nothing like any of the other Timney triggers I own.

I have one in my Bighorn actioned 223 Ackley. So far, about 300 rounds in, I am very happy. Very happy. Here later this summer if all is well I plan on ordering three more.

They are an excellent trainer for my AI rifles.
