T32 or N133? Same price. Which one?

I personally think you’ll have an easier time with LT32. I’ve shot 133 since it came on the market and I still have trouble keeping it shooting.

Since it’s roughly a grain or so hotter than 133 you’ll get a few more reloads from LT32 as a bonus.

Does LT 32 meter better than N133?

I don't want to totally hijack this thread, but how come H322 doesn't show up on match reports any longer?

Thank you Mister Obvious. I should have phrased my question differently to avoid a smart ass remark. Was hoping for the reason behind it since I know at one time it was quite popular.
Jimmy,
For the most part it’s not used very much. There are big differences between where it’s made and it’s not particularly easy to keep in tune. At least with a 6ppc.

I treat LT32 as if I were shooting military surplus 8208. I will do my normal cleaning after each group. However at the end of the day on a new barrel or after an agg on an older barrel I’ll clean with ISSO.

Bart

I am not familiar with 8208. I just noticed that N133 is very clean as is AA2015 (i really like both). Especially when they are burning and in tune. Hardly any carbon at all.

Thanks Bart,

Being new to group, I've been reading a good bit about the history of the game and saw that H322 was widely used in a PPC back in the day. Based on your response, is it safe to assume todays vintage of H322 is harder to keep in tune than the somewhat fickle N133?

I seem to struggle with N133 and not knowing which way to make an adjustment when it's not shooting good. For instance, I was shooting dots with my standard 28.5 load last Saturday, but I know the next time out that same load may end up being a big blob. Just looking to simplify this process since I do not have much in the way of one on one guidance. I've even considered giving LT-30 a try to see if I can keep some powder...any powder in tune. Thanks again for your response.

urbanrifleman...sorry about the hijack.

Oh it is all good. I am interested as well. And I guess we are seeing a powder that is very temp sensitive in the N133? And the new powders are less so?

What we need is Bofours version of it like R16. That stuff is STUPID. It just shoots.

I think the biggest reason for most not using 322 is the fact that it doesnt give as much velocity,,,,when in tune it is usually 150 fps slower,,,,and that gives the wind more time to "toy" with the bullet on the way downrange,,,,Roger

Jimmy, my remark was not intended to be a smart ass remark at all....just a brief one. About 20 years ago, I shot H322 in my 6 PPC and it was made in Scotland. When the supply of Scottish powder dried up, I started using N133. I must not be the only one, because I seldom see anyone using H 322 now. Good shooting...James
