T1X bolt questions

Looking at getting a couple Tikka t1x rifles. between the kids and I there's a couple left handed shooters and right hand shooters. Between getting a couple parts, swapping some barrels, etc, my question is if I bought a left hand in 17hmr is the bolt different to a 22lr if I wanted to swap a barrel or buy an aftermarket barrel. Also if it's just the extractor to change, I'd assume the left hand and right hand extractors are the same and simply different between Hmr and .22lr.

I dont know the answer to your question, but I would just get two rifles. More than likely you will never swap the parts around more than once or twice.

What I'm wondering is if the bolt face recession and face diameter is different from the .22lr bolts to the .17hmr. I see the extractors are different. And I'm hoping the extractor is the same from left hand to right hand. I'm not finding any .22lr left hand available. But I find .17hmr lefties available. If it's as simple as a barrel and extractor swap and use correct magazine
