Built from another dead project.

I designed the vise off of on my dad Ken used for cleaning , just a good solid gun vise. The Tslot rail is endless for tool holders etcetera.
I made one more billet clamp but also made a few printed ones. Cleaning, scope leveling, really just about any work. Amazing how some chunks of 1/2in pushloc hose hold any thing that fits in the without marring.

How are you attaching the hose to the blocks? Looks like your Dad's has screws or something from the backside but your does not.

Its screws thru the hose. I printed a new one with slots the hose fits into with 1/2 the hose sticking out.

That's my own personal project. I inherited a large collection of various either sporterized or FN M98 Mausers. And because 1 guy doesn't need 3X 300 wby mags and 4x 257 Roberts I decided to plunge into expanding my caliber collection. They were all built by my Jim (Grandpa) aka Jim's Gun Shop, all trued and Timney triggers.
I think the best one I've done was the 300PRC in the M98 Large Ring
It took some uh "mods" to get it to feed 3.7in long rounds. Previous ones used Promag plastic mags but this one I finally stepped up to AICS pattern mags. I'm sure I still have the file.

That is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I also did a 300 PRC on an FN M98 it's about 80% finished, still working on the stock.

I always print a prototype nowadays, saves on alloy and machine time. Plus it give one the look and feel immediately. Its great to have while your machining as a ref as well.

Just when you think your the only one trying to tacticool an M98 lol.

I made 3 of these Promag Archangel magazine'd mini-chassis.
The 3rd is on my shelf but I'd need to check the fit.
