SWFA fixed 20x

I've been considering switching to a fixed scope for my silhouette rifle and something from 20x up to probably ~32x would be all I need as more power would make target acquisition at 200m difficult. I currently have 6-24x on it and have never turned it down across any and all conditions.

How good are the turrets on the SWFA? What other options do I have in the same general budget? Weaver T series? Leupold FX? Either 30mm or 1" is fine as I have mounts for both, objective diameter is not an issue either, it's an AR so 2.75" sight height gives plenty of room.

I have 2 swfa 20x scopes...one on a 22-250 and the other on a 30-06. The first one was purchased new, the other second hand. I love them. I shoot anywhere from less than 100 yards out to 1000 yards. They are precision made optics, extremely repeatable. The eye relief is very close tolerances...some people have difficulty in rapid target acquisition, but like anything else, practice and discipline. For the money, the quality can't be beat.

I have one and like it. My advice is do not use a 20moa base. I switched to a 0 moa and clarity was much better.

I shoot silhouette out to 1000 with a Rem .308 & 20x SWFA. Could not be happier. Previous scope was a Millet 6-25.

The only "issue" I've noticed in my 12X is lack of color differentiation. Bright orange clay birds appear brownish, like the berm.

I don't use an angled base now, only need about 13 minutes for 500m with my load. It's not a 1k gun anyways.

Thanks for the advice, looks like I might be putting my Xmas bonus to use this year.
