Swede Mauser in 6.5x55. This rifle has been sporterized by someone who knew what they were doing. Barrel shortened to 23" and nicely crowned, trigger is single stage and very crisp without any slop. Very nice lightweight and rigid fiberglass stock. Comes with the scope and rings.

I have did these conversion on number of 96 swedes over the year, the cocking piece is too short, should still be some of it sticking out in the back of the bolt, even with the firing pin all the way forward. Is this a swedish action, or a german 95 with a swede barrel on it.

It could be modified like the cg63/cg80 target rifles (and later commercial actions) where they machine off the end of the cocking piece so it is lighter to improve locktime

I have eyeballed the barrel and it's clean and shiny. I don't have a bore scope to check it that way. It is a 96 action (Carl Gustaf) I owned one years ago that the gunsmith did the bolt exactly the same as this. As for how it shoots, it shoots great and very accurately. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

The serial number in the bolt (3digits) matches the serial number one the receiver
