On prairie dog hunting I love my rifle with the Swarovski 5-25 Z-5 scope installed. On my other rifles I have the $1200 Vortex 5-25 and the Leupold 8.5-25 VXIII. I spot the PD with the Vortex range finder binoculars and then scan for it with the rifle set to 12-15 or so on the scope and then turn it up to 25 to see what happens when I fire on my 20 gage rifles, 20 Vartarg and two 20 Tacticals. Another thing; These rifles allow you to see what happens to the PD without recoil which is what I want to see. Anyway the Swarovski dials are so smooth, easy to turn and the glass is pristine! Guess price is what you pay for.
