surgeon remedy rifles pics and opinions

I'm pretty interested in these rifles when I saw them on surgeon's website when I was originally looking for their actions. 338 lapua is what they are sold in and I have always wanted that cartridge. What are your opinions of the rifle they sell in the AX chassis and any pictures would be great. Would it be cheaper to build one or buy theirs?

Its always cheaper to build one. I have a stock for one for sale.

save your cash and buy used. Lots of 338 lapua/edge/rum rifles for sale, most with low round counts. You'll get 30-50% more rifle for you cash if you let someone else take the gunsmith/new parts hit.

just my $0.02. Good luck in your quest.

Absolutely look for used- .338's are like .375 H&H's or .458's, etc.. Often found with very low round count and sold by guys that wanted long range - only to dislike the recoil and boom.
