Surgeon action wrench

Has anyone used the Surgeon action wrench ? It is designed for a Remington 700 action. I was wondering if it would work on Panda and Viper actions?
Thanks for any info.

I have one and have used it often. I cant tell you if they would work with other actions or not. If it were me I would buy a wrench that fits your action. I would hate to ruin a good custom action because I didnt buy the right tool.

I have one and use it on a 700 LA and a 40XBR. I believe that they work on Savage actions, but not my 2 12Fs because the port is too small. I would not use it on any aluminum action, the bearing area is likely too small.

280man is right. If the action manufacturer offers a wrench, buy and use it. It is not worth the risk using an unqualified tool.

I had a standard rear entry for a remington 700 and had my smith cut a groove to accept Surgeon's anti-bind rail. Glad I did it, works perfect.
